Coconut Bay Resort & Spa
St. Lucia

Coconut Bay Resort; photo courtesy resort The all-inclusive Coconut Bay Resort & Spa is the ultimate all-inclusive family vacation destination with plenty of action-packed activities for the kids and loads of Caribbean comfort for mom and dad. While adults relax at the spa or adult-only pool area, kids can let their imaginations run wild at the Kidz Club and the Coco Land water park.

The Kidz Club is a supervised entertainment super source for kids. Happily entertained with arts, crafts and games throughout the day, the kids will never be bored. Activities at the Kidz Club range from cookie decorating and T-shirt designing to participating in Coconut Bay's beach Olympics.

When the kids are ready for something different they can go to their own supervised water playground, filled with novelty fountains and buckets, a lazy river, and multiple slides. The biggest on the island, Coco Land Water Park is a destination in itself.

Teens are happy to hang out at the resort's video arcade or at the ping-pong or pool tables, or at the tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. Or they can catch some rays at the water park and experience some exhilarating rides on the waterslides.

Adults have their own secluded pool area, a swim-up bar in the main pool, three lounges and a spa. Ultimate relaxation can be achieved on-site at the Kai Mer full-service spa, located oceanfront with sea view treatment rooms that feature private outdoor showers, a relaxation lounge, 12-head Swiss hydro showers, two steam rooms, two saunas, and hair and nail treatment services. The resort's fitness center boasts a wide variety of Cybex equipment along with free weights and group exercise classes.

Those who want to pick up the pace will not be disappointed by the variety of excursions and adventure tours available. Coconut Bay can organize catamaran cruises, walks through Pigeon Island National Park, snorkeling, trips to the Sulphur Springs and waterfalls in Soufriere, hiking trips into the Pitons, a visit to the world's only drive-in volcano, tours to botanical gardens, mineral baths, and diving expeditions.

All that adventure takes energy and Coconut Bay Resort offers just the fare to fuel up for a day of adventure. With several dining options and various theme nights, the resort offers something to cater to every taste. Whether looking for a variety of dishes, including local fare, served buffet-style or specialty cuisine served a la carte, guests can choose to dine at one of three restaurants at the resort. Located adjacent to the airy lobby, Coconut Walk offers buffet-style dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner several nights a week. Breakfast consists of everything from an omelet station to bacon and eggs to a variety of fresh fruits, pastries and cereals. For lunch, guests can choose from fresh salads and a variety of warm entrees.

Guests looking for a taste of Europe can make a reservation next door at Bellagio, an Italian a la carte restaurant. The seating schedules accommodate both families and couples and proper dress is required at both restaurants.

Families enjoy the convenience of grabbing a poolside snack or light meal at Bites, the beachside grill. They serve up the classics - hamburgers, hot dogs, tuna melts and fries.

Two nights a week, the staff at Coconut Bay joins together to host special theme nights - Caribbean Night and BBQ night. During these special evenings, dinner is served buffet-style in the areas surrounding the pools, including entertainment. With plenty of bars, including a swim-up bar, there are endless options to quench that Caribbean thirst.

At the end of the day the entire family will enjoy all that Coconut Bay has to offer. Whether it's the Kidz Club, the water slides or the adventure tours, everyone will have a tale to ell and many unique memories to bring home.
